These&nbsp; impressions oQerrare and significant evidence for understanding the material, technical,&nbsp; and symbolic dimensions of Bronze Age textile technologies.&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><em>The research aimed to evaluate and refine a combination of digital techniques,&nbsp; including high-resolution photography, 3D scanning using a portable hand-held&nbsp; device, and DinoLite digital microscopy. The purpose of this research was the development of <strong>AI-powered tools <\/strong>for identifying raw materials and production&nbsp; methods used in ancient textile manufacture.&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-group is-nowrap is-layout-flex wp-container-core-group-is-layout-3a88641f wp-block-group-is-layout-flex\">\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full is-resized\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"940\" height=\"788\" src=\"https:\/\/textailes-eccch.eu\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/06\/1.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-416\" style=\"width:573px;height:auto\" srcset=\"https:\/\/textailes-eccch.eu\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/06\/1.png 940w, https:\/\/textailes-eccch.eu\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/06\/1-300x251.png 300w, https:\/\/textailes-eccch.eu\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/06\/1-768x644.png 768w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 940px) 100vw, 940px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-group is-vertical is-layout-flex wp-container-core-group-is-layout-831b2db5 wp-block-group-is-layout-flex\">\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This initiative builds on recent advances in Aegean textile studies that highlighted the&nbsp; <strong>pivotal economic and socio-cultural role of textile production in the Bronze Age. <\/strong>Textiles are extensively referenced in Linear B records, iconography, and archaeological&nbsp; remains, while the demanding intensity of production, measured in time and money,&nbsp; emphasised their value.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">&nbsp;In this context, the digitised imprints not only enhance the preservation and accessibility of fragile evidence but also uncover the role of threads and cords in administrative&nbsp; practices, including patterns of reuse and recycling.
