The TEXTaiLES project<\/strong> was proudly represented at Digital Heritage 2025<\/strong>, one of Europe\u2019s leading events dedicated to digital innovation in cultural heritage<\/strong>. 
Aggelos Gkiokas<\/strong>, the Innovation Manager of the project, was featured as one of the three EU projects under the ECHOES cluster<\/strong>. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Connecting Europe\u2019s Digital Heritage Community:<\/strong> <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Digital Heritage 2025 conference<\/strong> brought together researchers, professionals, and policymakers from across Europe to discuss the latest advancements in digital archaeology, heritage science<\/strong>, and AI-driven preservation<\/strong>. 
Participants explored how new technologies, including the emerging European Cultural Heritage Cloud<\/strong>, are transforming the way we document, safeguard, and share cultural assets. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

TEXTaiLES\u2019 Contribution to Heritage Innovation:<\/strong> <\/p>\n\n\n\n

As part of the ECHOES cluster<\/strong>, TEXTaiLES contributes to building a shared vision for interoperable digital tools<\/strong>, AI-enhanced analysis<\/strong>, and cross-sector collaboration<\/strong> in heritage preservation. 
Through its interdisciplinary approach, the project demonstrates how machine learning<\/strong>, 3D digitisation<\/strong>, and semantic data exchange can unlock new ways to understand and interpret Europe’s textile heritage. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

A Collaborative Step Toward the Future:<\/strong> <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Events like Digital Heritage 2025 foster meaningful dialogue across Europe\u2019s cultural and scientific communities strengthening the foundations for the Cultural Heritage Cloud<\/strong> and shaping a more inclusive, connected, and innovative<\/strong> future for heritage research. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
