Textile digitisation tools and methods for cultural heritage / ECCCHtextailes

In this digital age, cultural institutions find themselves confronted with unprecedented challenges regarding sharing and digitising CH content, collaborating and connecting with one another. The creation of theEuropean Collaborative Cloud for Cultural Heritage (ECCCH) offers a significant chance to tackle existing challenges due to national, local, legal, and organisational barriers that prevent CH institutions from widely using collaboration platforms and tools. As a part of the ECCCH TEXTaiLES will employ key emerging technologies like Artificial Intelligence (AI), 3D digitization, Internet of Things (IoT), Cloud/Edge Computing, Robotics, Digital Twins (DTs) to capture and visualise the visible and non visible characteristics of textile archeological objects.
