The ExplorTIC Project organised on Monday, December 8th, 2025, at Warsaw University, Poland, the workshop “Towards Establishing Best Practices in Documenting Textile Imprints on Clay”. 

The workshop brought together researchers and practitioners in a highly collaborative setting, combining theoretical discussion with hands-on experimentation to advance shared methodologies for the study of textile imprints on clay. 
A particularly valuable aspect was the practical session, where participants explored the production of modern casts and impressions from archaeological textile imprints, contributing to a structured decision-making strategy for creating positive imprints.
